Fresh Local Goodies! South of the James

Get on out and snag some local goodness. My mission accomplished! Quick in and out to snag fresh produce! I left with red leaf lettuce, tomatoes, & pickling cucumbers! Got a cup of Blanchard's coffee.

Parking was Nuts around 9. I opted for parking 2 blocks away.

Added bonus ~ saw my fab friend Dionne, her husband & dogs (Ella & Winston). Pleasant surprise!:-D

What goodies did you snag?! Here are a few action pics I snapped:

Rainy Day Local Farmers Market Love

I showed some local farmers market love today. Somehow I'm extra motivated to visit when it's a rainy day. 1) less crowd & 2) know bc of less crowds, they benefit from the extra motivation of visitors coming to buy their goodies.

I find greater pleasure eating local grown produce. Does the body, mind, &
Soul Great!:-)

I was on the hunt for produce. Not so much today, but did get some lovely morsels. Also, found a new vendor. Made a first time purchase of some lotions & honey lip balm.

Go visit South of the James!

Lotions, soups, lip balm, & adorable sheep wool animals!
Cute little animals & baby booties
Loved the texture of this honey lip balm
Bought a few bottles of lotion. Try out & smell the samples!
Next stop ~ greens! Not pictured is the lovely bags of spinach & baby bok choy. Eager to eat these fresh local goodies!:-)

What great local farmers market goodies did you collect this weekend!!
