I like this direct route through the tunnel entry to get outta DC! Headed back to Richmond:)
Heading back
This traffic was a spot on the way back from DC ~ GNARLY congestion. Gnarly spots to DC, too. I've been told about how gross the traffic can be to/from DC. It's True! You have got to be uber alert, defensive driving... & aggressive (but always drive safe). This is NUTS! Do Not miss this chaos.
Mapquest was Great for my first DC commute! Re-routed me several times to avoid the Crazytown traffic!!! Great app. Made my trip go smoother.

Got to say.... This crazy drive showed me how beneficial it'll be to have my private pilots license to avoid all these cars:)

Not pictured ~ went to Jessica's Nails at Georgetown. I got a pedicure. It was packed so make an appt! Very relaxing.

Yes, I will totally come back to DC!! So fun & I barely scratched the surface!! I'll be back!

What's your Favorite DC / Georgetown spots?!
