Shrinky Dink Artist @IKnowTiffany, Richmond, Virginia

I know a fabulously talented artist named Tiffany. She is a Richmond gem. I met her through Social Media after moving to RVA from Southern California a few years ago.

She is definitely someone who stands out. Beautiful outside & in! She's got such a good, positive & geniune vibe. Real Rockstar quality!

A talented creative artist, she's also a successful Food Allergy blogger. I'm a fan of her & glad to say I know Tiffany!:-)

She recently unveiled & held an art show here in Richmond of Shrinky Dink Art. I was lucky enough to have a mini me created.... & a piece capturing a picture of me flying over Virginia. Could not have asked for a better moment. LOVE Flying!:-)

RVA Artist Spotlight: IKnowTiffany

I met Tiffany at one of the Social Media Club Richmond events. Followed her on Twitter. She is an artist here in RVA, a great one who's passion can be seen in her beautiful creations. I really liked her little art series. Tiny paintings she'd leave around town for people to find & take. I remember these cute owl pieces she created! Anyways, she's a person I've met briefly at some of these local Social Media functions, but always struck me as genuine & a real pleasure! Beautiful outside & inside!:-) I

Enjoy her posts on social media ~ positive, insightful, creative & educational. She creates beautiful art & is an advocate on Food Allergy awareness! You go girl!! Keep representing awesomeness in RVA!

Her latest work is a Shrinky Dink series! I've been watching as she posts cool tiny creations she makes. She's been creating pieces & today, by my pleasant surprise, she did one of Me! WooHoo!:-D My Cheshire Cat grin flying high over Virginia! I love it! Thank you for your TLC in creating this cool mini me piece! When will it be up on display? Will have to check it out!!:-D

I'm a fan of Tiffany! Check out her work on Instagram (IKnowTiffany)! Talented RVA Gem, she is!

TEDxRVA Adventure 2013

I'm a fan of TED & it was an exciting time in Richmond, Virginia this past week with TEDxRVA! Capital One was one of the big sponsors and I supported efforts to spread the word on our campus leading up to event day, 3/22. TEDxRVA was sold out, but Capital One University held a live simulcast to gather fellow associates & TED fans could enjoy the live show together. It was a fun experience to be a part of spreading the word on campus and to see the Company's passion & support in TEDxRVA & the Community.

TED & TEDx gives us the benefit of meeting others who we may have never known & open our minds to different ideas/thoughts. A gift!

I'm a believer of the power of great thoughts and sharing them... Of a strong community... Of promoting good vibes.. & focusing on unleashing greatness with emphasis on the possibilities, seeing what can be achieved vs what can't. Excited TEDxRVA happened & the world will learn more about the Great City of Richmond. I moved here in 2009, never thought I would.. & it has changed my Life for the better... It has given me new Life & I look forward to discovering more of what I love about my new home:)

Here are a couple pics I captured of rehearsal night & the live simulcast event day on the Richmond Capital One campus.

Andy was so energized and fun to watch!

Stephen Gannon - Capital One Exec. Inspiring speech and clear how strongly he feels about TEDx, the value in innovative/creative thinking, and the Richmond community.

Live simulcast from Capital One in Richmond, Virginia

This live simulcast gathering was a great treat! Glad to have been an active part of managing volunteers to spread the word on our campus, last week, to support the viewing onsite. It was a fun and rewarding experience.
